- Here is what you need to do; Place the backup/original of Workbench into
- the drive and power up while holding down both mouse buttons.
-
- A menu will appear and boot with no Startup-Sequence. This will put you at
- a Dos prompt. Type...
-
- makedir DH1:temp (return)
-
- ...then...
-
- copy DH0: #? DH1:Temp ALL (return)
-
- ...change the above to meet your drive needs. This will copy your files in
- DH0: to a different drive/partition, in the directory called "temp". The
- reason for "temp" is to make it easy to find where the files where copied.
-
- Just make sure you have the space to copy the files, or you won't get them
- all.
-
- Then check to make sure the files are there and reformat the drive.

- Don't use Disk Doctor!!!!!!!! Look in to getting the new version of
- DiskSalv (I think version 4). You can get version 2 off of AmiNet, but
- beware that version 2 has some bugs. But it is nowhere as bad as Disk
- Doctor.
